Identity Convergence 2008
I spent the last few days of 2007 working on my Internet identity. Over the past few years I’ve created various login names across different sties. I’ve merged them all to my timeless login, “ccarella”. Perhaps not that creative… but ccarella is the first login name I ever recieved on a Unix system and well… it’s still fitting.
“Carellavision” is now being used as a shared identity account between becarella and myself. This is for joint blog entries (like travelling around the world together), photos and videos. Finally, I’ll be pointing chriscarella.com to an aggregator of all of my identity feeds.
This probably affects a few of my friends and followers on the various sites, most importantly anyone who was following my flickr account. Carellavision was my primary flickr page and it is now a shared account. My new flickr account is ccarella.
