We The Living
I went to the Knitting Factory last night with Nexeus Fatale to check out “We The Living”. Nexeus got us on the guest list and I’m a sucker for free live music. They sounded really good. Not exactly my bag of indie rock but the vocals, instrumentation and raw sound was impressive. I was thoroughly entertained. I met the lead singer afterward and he was very cool. They embrace their fanbase in a big way, using facebook and other tools to keep in touch. I was really impressed by the size of their fan base.
I have no idea what the name was of the band who followed them but they totally rocked. All in all a good indie rock night.
