M79 - Vampire Weekend
I caught Vampire Weekend at their December 6th show at Terminal 5. They sounded great and were accompanied by stringed instruments (which they don’t always do), which gave their songs a full sound. There was more people dancing at this show than any other show I’ve seen in 2008. It was pretty awesome. Vampire Weekend is coming to the end of the tour for their debut self titled album, Vampire Weekend. They were very appreciative to be in NYC; the city that got started. M79 is a song about a NYC busline.
